Item get, Rings!

I knew I wanted her to wear the rings like this as soon as I saw them, Hope you guys like it to, heres a little writing to go with it.

Word around the Guild was that Cordelia’s Boutique had new items come in. She always insisted that her items were drab or unimpressive, but they added a touch of individuality to every fen that got a hold of one. Julia arrived in Cordelia’s Boutique around noon hoping to find something for herself.  “Good afternoon Cordelia.” Juila said politely. She knew the kind of greeting Cordelia would give before she even spoke, and admittedly grinned when her expectations were met. “Afternoon yourself.” She responded with a sour tone. Julia smiled and walked over to the new items. Old, dusty, and worn all came to mind upon looking at them. She picked up one of the many shawls ‘I wonder who wore this? Has this shawl been around the world and back already, or just the shawl of a homebody?’ she thought absentmindedly. After a moment she folded it up and placed it back with the others, deciding it was not quite what she was hoping to leave with. Her eyes examined the boutiques contents before looking through the gloves, gloves would be a practical choice after all, they would surely protect her paws. She slipped on a pair and admired them for a moment. At first she was rather pleased with this, however she glanced up just as another Fen walked past the boutique with a similar pair of gloves. ‘No, I need something that looks like me, something I can call my own.’ She thought stubbornly placing the gloves back. At first she wasn’t sure what to try on after that. Her gaze wandered over to the rings and she walked over, noticing an odd earring without a match. She picked it up and glanced back down at the rings. A larger one the same color as the first one caught her eye as an idea popped into her mind. She picked it up, noting it was probably meant to be a finger ring, tail cuff, or small bracelet. She opened the earrings back and slid the second rings loop onto it. Now it looked more like the figure eight or infinity symbol. Delighted with the new appearance held it up to her ear, and looked into a nearby mirror. “Can I take these ma’am?” she asked respectfully to the grumpy Cordelia. Cordelia let out an exasperated sigh and waved her paw “Sure kid, whatever.” She said with the least enthusiasm Julia had seen all day. Julia admittedly found Cordelias grumpy attitude rather amusing and not hurtful in the slightest. Julia flashed her a smile “Thank you.” She said before leaving the boutique with her new earring in hand.
